Fun Fun Week!

Connor my boy - Christmas is just a short 3 days away! Daddy and I could not be happier to wake up with you on Christmas morning and see your face when you see presents under the tree. I will admit last Christmas was fun and you did enjoy opening your gifts but, this year being you are a whole year older we are expecting it to be even more fun! So far this week has just been filled with fun! First off we finally got enough snow outside to ctually cover the grass - As much as I hate the cold and not being able to play outdoors with you everyday - I do think I would miss how beautiful it looks when it first snows ( you know before everyone drives and walks on it and it looks brown and yucky) Anyways - Daddy and Chuck were outside burning in the burn barrel and of course you wanted to help - so we bundled you up and you got to help the boys work! The pictures above mommy made it out for a few but, promise I will get more and spend more time out there - was hoping it would warm up just a tad its been quite chilly out there.. So you and daddy made snow angel, snow balls and just ran around! You LOVE the snow anytime we need to go outside you get so excited to walk in the snow! We also took Monday afternoon and went over to Great Grandma's House - your baby cousin Oliver and his family are in town and we wanted to make sure you got a chance to visit. Although you loved playing with baby Oliver and his daddy you also loved grandmas dog "millie" - you just could not get enough! I will tell you as soon as we left there you were sound asleep must of wore you out visiting with the family! We have a busy next few days ahead of us - Im am just so excited - I love the holidays alwys have but, with you Connor it is just even so much better than I ever thought.

Baby Zennon News: I went on Monday for a check up and got to hear the heartbeat! I just love to hear that! I am measuring at 23 weeks which when I went in was 22 weeks and 4 days so, that is just about RIGHT ON! I am more than halfway through this pregnancy and cannot wait to meet you! Bring on April :)

Hope you all have a great Christmas and I will be back after Christmas to post about our adventures!

First Post of December

Yikes... I cannot believe that December is already here - well been here I suppose, Im just behind on my posts! We have been busy. So what have we been doing since December started - Let's see! We have been working on getting everything ready for Christmas! House is decorated, most presents are wrapped, cookies are made! Did I mention how much we LOVE this time of year! So much fun - Connor my sweet boy - I think you are starting to understand that Santa is coming - you are quite into the Christmas movies! You enjoy helping mommy with decorating the tree, wrapping presents, and making the cookies - Im am just so excited to watch you enjoy yourself on Christmas morning! With only 9 days left until Christmas i don't have to wait very long. Let's see what else have we been up too ! Mommy has been organizing all of our closets, making you a play room, and organizing out laundry roon - haha who am I kidding.. Mommy can't do any of that but, your Grandpa Urbanski, Daddy and Chuck can - and they on the other hand have been busy for about a week making room in your closet for baby Zennon to have a place for his clothes, making you boys an awesome playroom in the basement nd organizing our laundry room so we have lots and lots of extra storage! Those are the pictures above! Next on my list - getting all Baby Zennon clothes watched and hung in the closet - we also have to get the crib put together! What else have we been up to in December - we celebrated g-ma Duris' birthday! Went out to dinner at Mancy's - Who doesn't love that place! We also went out to celebrate Andy's Graduation from MSU- we could not make it to the ceremony but, we make it to Carl's Hidaway for a yummy dinner around 4:00! Connor my boy - you had the best time playing with your cousins Henry and Greta. I just love watching you enjoying time with your family - im so very thankful you get to spend time with them and that you all get along so well. We are just so blessed to have such a close and wonderful family!

Baby Note: Mommy feels this little buddle of joy moving around alot! He is quite active - Connor was like that too :) Two active boys - I will definatly have my work cut out for me! I go to my Doctor Appointment on Monday the 20th for my 22nd week- hoping they will tell me I have another ultrasound coming up! I will also find out how this baby is growing and how much weight mommy is gaining. I have not gained any yet so, I think my dr. is hoping I do this time! Time is flying by and baby will be here to joing our family in only 4 short months - could not be more anxious!!!

Sniffles & Coughs

Long time no talk - i agree but, let me tell you some sort of flu has hit the Urbanski home :( No fun at all.. First it was me and Connor just seemed like a cold - but wouldn't go away. Then Eric got hit with it as well - Well then we are were just passing it around. Up all night coughing and little sweet Connor couldn't slept well because he was so stuffed up. It was not a great past week here! Happy to say that we were all starting to feel better just in time for Thanksgiving! This year it was our turn to do Thanksgiving with Eric's family - So we all made the trip to Hicksville, OH for quite the thanksgiving feast! Picture above was taken there. Connor eventually found some super cute older girls to drive him around but, until they arrived Daddy had a great time. A little tough I'm sure but, there is nothing that he won't do for his sweet boy Connor! We also had an 88Th birthday party for my Grandma Duris this Sunday - Always great to get together and see the family! Connor as always had the best time with his cousins! So, we are all sleeping again and feeling soo much better! Im keeping my fingers crossed we can all stay healthy - being sick and pregnant and not being able to take any medications = no fun at all..

On a baby note: We went in on Monday for an ultrasound! We also found out that Connor is going to have a BABY BROTHER:) We could not be happier - I am sure it will not come without some challenges but we are so excited to have two precious boys! The ultrasound looks great and everything with baby is healthy and growing - they did however tentatively move my due date back to April 23 so, that makes me about 19 weeks this week! She said as it gets closer we can decide if the original date looks better or later in April its only about a week and a half difference so, were ok with either- we just want him to take all the time he needs to grow and be healthy!

More to come mext week:)

Deer Hunting

This week our post is a little late but, we have a great excuse - we have been sooo busy! Aunt Jenn & Uncle Tom came into town on Wednesday so, we tried to spend as much time visiting with them as we could the week they were here! Daddy left for deer hunting Saturday morning - although daddy himself didn't bring home a deer we will still get some yummy deer meat because grandpa got a deer and so did your cousin Dennis! (Henry & Greta's daddy). They are very nice looking deer and you enjoy looking through the pictures daddy took! While daddy was gone in between visiting with Aunt Jenn and Uncle Tom we also spent lots of time shopping with GG and Grandma. I think both of them got a lot of Christmas done and outta the way! Wish we could say the same! We did get Connor stuff and we got daddy's gifts and wrapped. Super excited about his this year! But we also had lots and lots of fun, just spending time with them was fun. I know you had a blast because you have been sleeping alot! I think we got you a little to far off schedule - Well daddy is home now! And as happy as we both are to see him i think we are both ready for a nap..I am officially pooped out. We have had a great and fun filled busy weekend and i cannot wait to just relax on the couch tonight and watch some televison with daddy:)

Monday, November 8, 2010

Let those pictures say it all! You and Daddy both got your hair cuts this week! Why didn't I do before and after for daddy as well? His was a pretty big change just like you big boy! I must also say, you look so much more grown up to me with your short locks! Not too much going on last week. GG came on Thursday (like just like every other thursday) to spend the day playing with her sweet Connor:) I must say you look forward to that everyweek. Usually by Tuesday you are asking mommy and daddy about GG. You know she is coming very soon! Well we have a few big weeks coming up - maybe thats why we stayed home most of the week and relaxed! Spent time next door with Grandma and Granpa Urbanski. We also have started working on your play room downstairs, I cannot wait until we get in done!! You will love it:)

Baby News: We are scheduled for our next check-up on November 22 so, I should have new updates for you!!! We also get to find out the SEX! Woo Hoo:) Boy or Girl.. We are so excited to find out! Connor will go with us - try to involve him as much as possible, He knows mommy has a baby in her belly and ever though it wont look like much to him I just love that fact that he will be there with Eric and I when we find out if Connor is going to have a little sister or a little brother!
I have been feeling some kicks now and again - nothing yet for Eric:( But I sure love the feeling!

Halloween Fun

Sweet Connor Boy -
I must admit since your birthday (after seeing how much fun you had opening your birthday presents) I have been SUPER excited for Christmas to be here! I guess I didn't realize how much fun Halloween would be. I will say I was a little worried if we would even be able to get your costume on.. You are quite the picky person when it comes to getting dressed. You will tell me NO if you don't want to wear something that day.. But after all it was much easier than I thought. Once we got it on you didn't want to take it off. When we got home we took it off and few minutes later it was back on.. We even had our little giraffe back on Monday - Once again he wanted to make an apperance! It is just to CUTE to not let you wear it! Made me laught, giggle and smile everytime I look at you! You did a very good job trick-or-treating! You said "trick-treat" then "thank you" at every house! We did more houses then we did last year! By the time we were at the last couple of houses your bag was getting pretty heavy for you to carry! It was very fun:) GG and Grandma Duris came along to see you! I think they enjoyed themselves as much as mommy and daddy did! Sad night for the Steelers so, we will just leave out the details this week - Next week will be better....

Pumpkin Carving Time.

Starting off!

Finish product - Connor and I's on the right - Jacob and Andrea's on the left!

Well I think those pictures say it all :) Becides watching the Steelers kick butt this weekend - we spent some time pumkin carving! Andrea and Jacob joined us in the fun! We have had some nice wether lately so, we have had a few long days out doors this week. For the end of October we will take high 60 low 70's any day! Update on Connor Boy: We are still in the process of potty training we are doing well but, since he just turned two we are just having some issues with him being able to tell us in time to make it to the potty.. He understands that he has to go but, tells us that second - We really didn't expect him to catch on this well just thought working with him now by the time he is about 3 we would have it down! We are not giving up and trying to be positive with the accidents but, still working my butt off - not having to buy diapers for him anymore makes it all so worth it :)

Baby news update: I went for my 15 week check up on Monday and have actually lost a few pounds - No I am not depriving this child. i have to eat small meals more often and the doctor says its probably all going to the baby - good for mommy I know in time my belly will get much much bigger so, if I can keep it smaller now i will love it when the baby grows! Super strong heartbeat, my doctor is very happy with everything so far.. Me too - I have been feeling much better this week and hoping it stays that way! Sure would be nice to stop feeling sick all the time especially with the holidays all coming up very quickly!

Hallowwen Costume Hint: If you know me, its SUPER easy- We could not find a dinosaur or Shrek in Connor's size this year :( Since he is still a little young to know the difference I got my way and Eric said yes - next year he will want to pick his own out! So the hint is : It's mommy's favorite animal!

And one more fun note before I go: we want to wish Auntie Shel & Don a wonderful vacation in Hawaii - I know you very well (Shel anyways) and you will LOVE it just as much as Eric and I did! I can't wait till we can all go together - That would be super awesome! Safe travels and I can't wait to see those pictures!

Yesterday you and Daddy both made sure my day was a special as it could be:) Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Bob & Johnathan sent you a halloween package so, along with helping me open my gifts you got to open a few of your own! They sure do spoil you - You are still having fun with things from that package! Now, let me thank all my friends and family for wishing me happy birthdays yesterday - I truly do have the best family and friends! Now, lets back up a few days - What did we do this week?? Well we wished Grandma and Grandpa Urbanski safe travels and they headed off Thursday for Florida- wanted to visit Aunt Jennifer & Family. We miss having them around but, happy they are enjoying themselves - vacations are always a good thing! Friday - you, me and Daddy took a trip to Babies r us to pick you our a halloween costume.. You will have to wait another week or so to find out what Connor is dressing up as! :) bahahahah - I know you want to know! Then on Saturday we took a trip up to Henry and Greta's new house (very very nice by the way) to celebrate Greta girl turning 1.. What a great party - good times! You had the best time and did not want to leave. After Greta's party we took a trip out to Sylvania to watch the Buckeye's Game - Disapointment I must add:( But you had a good time there as well. Sunday - the three of uf had a wonderful day at home just enjoying each other and watching our STEELERS kick some Cleveland butt! We also worked on some more potty training - you did go poop on the potty for the first time!! So, good and again yesterday - we will be there very soon - our goal is before your brother or sister makes there apperance! I think we can do it:) Last night for mommy's birthday Grandma and Grandpa took us out to dinner - so we could spend some time with them! You loved it - Just like you love everything - Your such a good boy! Well the pictures above are you enjoying your Halloween present from Aunt Jennnifer, Uncle Bob and Johnathan.. First is you wearing your monkey hat - Second - You seeing your light up ghost - I believe you were saying "wowwww" - Third you lighting up your new ghost! Fun Pictures!

Erie Orchard

Well we definatly had a productive week and weekend. I must tell you, your new favorite things when we take our daily walk is to stop by the park over at church and swing. You could stay there all day. However, we still have to get our walk in. We did get our family pictures taken at church on Thursday and I must admit you were the perfect boy. Doing everything they asked you too (and yes, to those that know us - you will get a copy). We also went back this year to the Erie Orchard. (We went last year with Unlce Bob & Johnathan) Must asmit we missed them being here but, you still enjoyed your self. Both grandma's and daddy and I went along to watch you enjoy the day. You got to go on the pony ride, did a photo shoot with the pumkins, got to pet a deer, look at the chickens, goats. We also got ourself some fresh apple cider, donuts, and apples! Sunday we missed the Steelers playing - them being on a bye just is not the same. We did watch a little football and help grandpa and uncle eddie root on their Packers. Well off to play some more!

Fun Filled Weekend

This weekend was very busy yet so much fun! We started off Friday by going to see the circus with grandma duris. You had such an absolute blast! I think grandma, daddy and I had just as much as you too:) We saw dogs, tigers, elephants, horses, zebra's, lots of clowns and gymnasts. So very much fun!!!!

Then on Saturday you went to Grandma and Grandpa's to hang out and spend the night. Since mommy and daddy had our wedding at the Hilton we got a free nights stay. We didn't do it on our anniversary we were busy with other things we picked this weekend. We spent the day walking the shops and looking for christmas gifts.. We then had a yummy dinner and went and saw a great movie (You Again)..
And then we are to Sunday 3-0 BABY!!! That is all I have to say!! We are loving it:) Football season is great.. Fantasy teams are great :) Just lots to be excited for!
Oh and we can't forget Monday - Since it was the Packers vs. the Bears (Your grandpa Duris, Uncle Eddie and your cousins Peter and Adam) are all huge on Packers and your Uncle Tony loves the Bears. Let's keep up the good work and you will be potty trained in no time.. i mean you are not even 3 if we can do this before the baby comes daddy will be very happy with us. Only having to buy diapers for one!
on a side note - Mommy and Daddy didn't drink that bottle since mommy is pregnant, we figured we could save it till this baby is born and we can celebrate that with you and your new brother or sister!!!!!

YEAH!!!! Its finally here, well it has been for two weeks now but, last week I had other news to report! (Football that is) I am happy to say that for the past two Sunday's us three have been totally STEELER'ED out! We all get dressed up in jersey's ect to watch them play.. Connor enjoys football just as much as mommy and daddy - when we cheer he cheers, what a cutie.. I think he will grow to know nothing but Steelers and Ohio State football.. Im ok with that - daddy mave have issues with the second part! Mommy and Grandma took Connor Saturday morning to the Harrison Rally Day's in downtown Perrysburg, where we watched parade and looked around at all the crafts and entertainment people have to offer...Was a great day and by the time we got back to Grandmas connor was sound asleep -Think its safe to say he enjoyed it :) Aunt Jen from New Jersey was also home this weekend to see the Michigan State and Notre Dame game saturday so, although she was gone all day Saturday we got to Celebrate her and GGG's birthday on Friday evening - we had a delicious steak dinner and yummy cookie cake for dessert. wow.. im slacking!

Well, I don't know if it is the fact that mommy is pregnant or the fact that we had family in town, a huge party last weekend or a messy house.. But I have totally been slacking on this... So lets catch up just a little.. Your Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Bob and cousin Johnathan flew in on Friday the 3rd from Florida to start off our fun filled weekend. Aunt Jen and Uncle Tom followed that evening from New Jersey, all to be here when we celebrated your second birthday! You had family come in from Hawaii, Chicago, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Michigan, Ohio, Florida and New Jersey. Not to bad for your pig roast! So Saturday our entire family both mommy and daddy's and friends too were here to help us celebrate our 2ND annual pig roast! Sunday, a few close family members were back for round two! That day you opened all your present (wish you love), blew out your candles and got to celebrate being 2! I cannot believe how fast time has flown by.. Well it took us a few days to get the house cleaned up and for mommy to catch up on some cleaning..But now that life is getting back to our normal schedule we went to mommys first doctor appointment today and your new baby brother or sister is due on April 14th! Tomorrow we go for your 2 year check up.. Can't wait to see how much you have grown! Daddy says our next big task to work on is potting training so, lets see how this will go!

Super Exciting news in our family this week.. You are going to be a big brother!!!! Your daddy and I are super excited for you! You play great with other kids, and one of us always plays with you so, this should be alot of fun! A little worried as to how you will react since you are use to getting 100% of our attention. Dunking Booth

Connor, We had a pretty normal week with a super busy weekend.. Grandma and Uncle Steve's cousins were in town visiting from California and Virgina, so Uncle Steve and Aunt Gretchen had a little get together for everyone to visit.. Well as you know by now Uncle Steve rocks and usually has something fun up his sleeve.. Well he really surpised all of us when he rented a dunking booth!!! It was very fun! Kelsey was the first to hit the target and knock Uncle Steve in, Daddy, Dennis and Don got the hang of it not long after!! Even GG got her turn! You and Henry had a great time tossing the balls even though you couldnt get the target they let you push and kick it in!
Then Sunday, we went up to help Henry celebrate his 4th birthday! You love playing with him and baby Greta.. Henry even let you help him open his presents, I think it was practice for you in about 2 weeks!

Although you have been on Grandpa & Grandma's boat a lot since you were born, I can't say you have ever actually went for a boat ride... So this week, Grandpa took you, me and Daddy all on a great boat ride! Grandma was out of town with GGG so, us 3 went out to the boat with Grandpa! We grilled dinner, took a walk to look at all the boats and then we took a great ride! You loved it:) The next day you told us you wanted to go to the boat again!!!
On a side note: You have known how to say yes and no for awhile now, but when we asked you things it was just a chance that you would say the correct answer.. I will admit you have definatly mastered the words YES and NO! You say them soo cute it just makes us laugh, but you really know what you are saying and what they both mean!! Well in less than a month you will be 2... Plans are being finialized and invites sent out! Im super excited, I know you will have a blast!!

UpNorth Weekend...

Connor - Today is already the 2nd of August! You know what that means, in just about 1 month you will already be 2 years old!! Hard to believe time as gone this fast! This past week we have done a lot of organizing and cleaning around our house. We also took our annual canoe trip up north to west branch michigan(which is about 2 1/2 hours away from our house). It started as a family trip probably over 10 years ago. (Us cousins, Dennis, Michelle, Andy your uncle Tom and I would always take a picture of us on the stairs to see how much we change every year.) Well last year we started this up again only with you and Henry.. Well this year baby Greta is here... Let me tell you it is very hard to get a great picture of Henry (almost 4) you (almost 2) and Greta ( 9 month) But with all you happy babies, Aunt Gretchen, GG, Grandma Duris & myself.. Think we got a few good shots!!! So, that is how I picked my picture for this week.. I will also tell you that I had the best time this weekend watching you play with Henry and Greta some too.. You guys had the time of your life.. We ate some super yummy food, and saw alot of cool things...

Where shall I begin?!?!?!

Connor -
This entire blog is for you when you are old enough to read, I thought you would like to know the story of your father and me! I am the author of our story and yours atleast for now! So let's recap the past two years ( You will be 2 in less than 2 months)...
My intention was to start this when you were born but, as you will find out things were very crazy then.. Would not change a thing about it though :)
So, let's see where should I start, Your father and I met back when we were 16 years old at Cedar Point (Loved it then, after having you my body just can't take it the same.. But as you get older Im sure we will return there alot and make you a fan of Cedar Point as most everyone is).. After dating for many years we took a family vacation to Hawaii (To visit family) and your dad proposed.. It was July of 2007 only our second night there!! Most people where surprised in February of 2008 when they learned that you (Connor William) was growing in my tummy.. Your father and I on the other hand were ok, with the situation. We knew we were going to be married and were ready to welcome you into our "new" life as a family of 3... You were born on September 5, 2008.. You weighted 7lbs and 6ounces..Cutest thing we had ever seen! Your dad was finishing up school at Cincinnatti College of Mortuary Science so, it is without a doubt that we had our special time to bond while you were younger.. Im glad I had that time, you are such a daddy's boy now ( 22 months). Your dad graduated in March of 2009 and we were married in July 2009.. As of October of 2009, your father and I decided it was a good time for me to take time off work and stay at home and raise you.. So that's what i did... It took a little adjusting and time to get use to how our day to day life would be..
So, this is about where we are now..Im sure there are lots of details I left out about these first two years of your life.. You have done so much and I could write on forever.. But this is where we will start. I will try and write weekly about things you have done and milstones you are passing!!
The picture with this post, is a picture of you in the toy store at downtown disney! We took a 9 day vacation to Florida to visit your Aunt Jen, Unlce Bob and your cousin Johnathan.. You had an amazing vacation and got to see so much! We spent our days looking for golf balls, swimming in the ocean, pool and hot tubs..
