UpDaTe:

Yes... My amazing husband gave me these to loves - I cannot seem to get enough of!
(Day 10)
So Far, So Good... We are still in the process of cleaning, organizing and believe it or not moving things.  We have been busy at work and with things going on so, its really been here and there..  I believe we are starting to "get there".

Before we moved I thought more than anything I wanted to seperate the boys from sharing a room and only because our night would go as follows - Connor goes to bed - Zennon goes to bed - Connor was moving in his sleep - Wakes Zennon up - Zennon fussy's just enough - wakes Connor up - Connor leaves room and closes door - Wakes Zennon up - Gets boys back to bed - Zennon wakes up hungry - Wakes Connor up - Both back to sleep -MORNING!!
They both have their own rooms and night 1 & 2 - were not AS bad as usual but, I am telling myself they missed each other because sleeping was not as I thought it would be - I was really starting to wonder if I did the right thing - it was just not working out - when night 3 & 4 & 5 & 6 and so on and so on come......  QUIET all night long - They are adjusting, and we are all sleeping all night long - that is until work wakes daddy up - but the boys still SLEEP...

MoViNg?!?!?

(Day 1)
We are moving.. Or did move.. Or something in between the two...
For those of you who don't know - After Eric and I got married we moved into a cozy, small two bedroom home right next door to my in-laws and work.  Was just the perfect way for us to start out - easy to clean, perfect for Connor to grow up and super convenient for all of us!  After a few years Zennon comes along and makes it just feel just that much more crowded.  Bringing baby things back into the house along with all of Connor's toys we found ourselves very overwhelmed.  Papa & Grandma - being the wonderful people they are - decided they were ready to downsize on their home here  since they will be spending lots of time at their home away from home - So, the two of them moved into our home and the 4 of us are spending our first night as Connor would say "in our new home".
I feel alot of different things as I sit here - before I head to bed im nervous, im scared, im anxious, im excited, i am totally overwhelmed by thinking about everything that still needs to be done.  I don't know where I want to put things or even where to begin - There is just so much space, its nuts.
As a kid, I lived in the same house almost my entire life - only moving into my grandma's house (while ours was being built) then moving into our new home when I was in the 5th grade.
With that said I don't exactly understand what can possibly being going through my 3 year olds head.  One minute he wants his room downstirs, the next he wants his room upstairs, the next he wants baby brother to share with them, the next he doesn't.  He tells me he likes his new room then a few minutes later he wants to go back to his old home.  He tells me he hears noises (just the cars outside) he was spoiled before since his room was in the perfect part of our home.  As I write this they are both sleeping so, we will see how tonight goes.

With a bang...

I am going to apologize now, I have a feeling this blog will be a LONG one. I think the title says it all! We sure did have one heck of a weekend!
Our weekend started on Thursday and ended on Monday - holiday weekends are seriously the best. Thursday we got lots of visitors - Aunt Jenny was here in the morning and spent the day playing with the birthday-to-be-boy Connor!! Then came uncle Bob and aunt Jennifer - bringing with them some pretty awesome outfits for the boys :)

Our Pig Roast - was a great time - it is always so much fun to get everyone together and enjoy our time together.. It was a beautiful day - warm but, still nice.
(My Best Friends son - being dared to kiss the pig - He sure showed them boys!)

Until out of nowhere -

Yeah, If it were up to me I would say we just experienced a mini tornado - we lost our tent (the top of the tent landed on the roof of the building next to us)the swing set did a complete flip over,it uprooted trees - everything was all over it was quite the mess. Then the sun comes back out and everyone continued to party - Our party went off with a bang - how will we top this next year??
Monday my sweet Connor turned 3 years old. He had an amazing day filled with family, monkey cake, and presents!!
Connor when he realized it was time for his cake!

Since we were all together (minus Johnathan:( ) we tried to get a family photo

I think we did pretty good! I just LOVE my family! Johnathan - we need to do this again when you visit - we missed you lots!!
One final thing before I go,

Letter to our little sweet heart,

THREE – Connor you are three darling years old today. You love cars and choo choo trains. You absolutely adore your family. You are TOTALLY obsessed with doing everything all by YOURSELF – the sky actually falls in if I try and help - SERIOUSLY!! This past year for you has been a rollercoaster and you, sweet little you adjusted just perfectly!! For a few weeks you lost your daddy while he took care of me and your new little brother – you also lost your mommy while I adjusted to our “new” addition to our family but, at the same time you gained a wonderful little brother!! Who I have every hope will be your best friend in the future. Your dad and I wanted nothing more than to give you a sibling – it was just a bonus you got a baby brother. Your perfect world with mommy and daddy was truly turned upside down. I will tell you that only lasted for a quick minute, you absolutely adore your baby and help mommy and daddy out as much as you possibly can – I will admit you hate when he cries but, in time he will outgrow that. We have spent this last year doing just about anything your sweet little heart desires. We take walks, ride our bikes, play ball, board games, cars, trains, and you really love to help Daddy, Papa, Chuck and Uncle Moose at work. We took multiple trips to the zoo this year and you seem to just love it more and more every time. You are just a great kid to spend my time with – you spend as much time as possible with your cousins. You just amaze me every day by how smart you are. You are putting sentences together now – they may be mixed up in order – but you get your point across. You understand that you say “bless you” when someone sneezes’, you say please and thank you, and you know “excuse me” when necessary. I swear your favorite foods include hotdogs & ketchup, pizza with ranch, macaroni & cheese and every type of candy or sweets you can imagine. You are totally obsessed with MILK and APPLE JIUCE and love to try and act like you love mommy and daddy’s mountain dew – complete with a face of “gross”! You love to go shopping, especially when you get to pick out a toy when you behave like the angel you are. So, if there is one final thing I can leave with you – It would be to dream big buddy – DREAM BIG – the world is at your finger tips and you have nothing holding you back!
Now, one thing for the year to come: Let’s get you potty trained – Let’s just kick the diapers out!!

Oh how we LOVE you so,
Mommy & Daddy
