A 4th birthday to remember

Last weekend / Wednesday we celebrated a special man turning 4, complete with his very own 1st hockey stick & equipment (thanks to Uncle Tom & Aunt Lauren) personalized spider man remote car ( thanks to Uncle Bob & Aunt Jen), Chuck E Cheese's, as much spider man as you can imagine and a completely wonderful day at school - where he got to take treats for his friends, pick his job for the day, wear a crown, sit in the birthday chair.  He still is talking about this birthday!  Here are some of my favorite pictures from Connor's 4th Birthday!

Letter to my son:  4 years old!

Connor,

                I can hardly believe you are already 4 years old!  You have matured so much this past year and are so incredibly smart!  We decided to stick you in pre-school this year.  About two weeks before  your birthday you started so far, so good – you are already learning so much, making friends and even joined the soccer team.  I cannot even tell you are so very proud of you we are!  You are so totally into Spiderman – I am not quite sure where this came from but, I tell you what there is no stopping it anytime soon!  You have just about everything Spiderman (thanks to all your wonderful birthday gifts) Spiderman scooter, Spiderman web shooter, Spiderman clothes, Spiderman soccer ball and of course Spiderman toys!     Your best friends are Henry, Van & Jace – and according to you “I have enough friends” you are just too cute!  You are still obsessed with anything outdoors and would be out all day everyday if we would let you.  You are starting to enjoy sports!  The STEELERS are your all time favorite and you pretend you are the Steelers when playing football.  You also like the Tigers!  You are defiantly you dads son, you love everything about FAST cars!  You like to watch them on the computer, play race car games, look for Mustangs when we are driving!!  You want to go to Florida more than anything else, I think you talk about it all the time! Hoping we can take you this year!!  You and Zennon are finally starting to be each other’s best friends.. When he is napping you ask for him, when you are at school he is looking for you, but I tell you what – when you two are together and not arguing you two are so entertaining!   We are so excited to watch you grow even more this year!  Oh, and we love you so!
