Today our local pharmacy celebrated their 60th anniversary and they celebrated by inviting the local kids to come and meet Spike - the mascot from our local echl hockey team & Ben Woodley who plays defense for the Walleye. The boys got to have their photo's taken with the mascot and got to play air hockey against Ben. The had other small games set up - such as slap shot and tossing a walleye in a net. They got their hockey sticks signed by both and enjoyed their evening! Zennon would not get close to Spike - even with big brother by his side so, we decided not to fight the issue. Connor however loving every minute of it!
Once again the boys are talking hockey. Connor is loving all of it, if only he would eat and pack on some weight he could play hockey right?!?! I tell you I would be so proud, not only do these guys need to learn to play a sport but, they have to skate while playing! I don't know how they do it:)
