Letter to my little squirt! 24 months old!!
Zennon, I can hardly believe you are already 2 years old.
TWO YEARS OLD!!! How did this happen so fast?!?!? I can tell you right now your father and I
could not have loved you more these past two years! Right from the get go you were just a little
high maintenance (ha) and let me tell you that has only continued. But, don’t you worry we still adore you to
the moon and back. You are so incredibly
funny right now. Connor goes to
Pre-school 3 days a week so, it’s just you and me buddy and although you ask
about Connor a million times a day I think you are starting to get use to the
you and me time. You get to be the
leader 3 days a week and pick out what you want to play with when you want to
play with them and not have to listen to Connor. You like it I’m sure but in all honestly you
like it more when Connor is homeJ you just adore him, you love to repeat
everything he says and does. Sometimes
you don’t agree with him and there are arguments but, really you just want to
play and do whatever it is Connor wants.
You are so outgoing and super friendly, you smile and
say hi to just about everyone you see.
You LOVE kisses and that makes me so happy because I just love getting
kisses from you! You are definitely our
little cuddle bug which daddy and I both seem to love especially in the
evenings.
You are so smart and learning so much from your big brother
Connor. You are like a little sponge
soaking up everything he teaches you.
You’re starting to talk A LOT more!
It’s so fun when you tell us what you want or need and we can understand
what you are trying to tell us, not just with your actions but, what you are telling
us.
You want to be potty trained just like your big brother so,
incredibly bad. Now that you have went
pee on the potty you HATE your diaper. I
am not sure you quite understand what it is all about yet but, if we take your
diaper off and tell you to sit on the potty you pee. I mean for real dude this started at about 22
months. I tell you what if you get the
hang of this soon I will be one happy mommy and I
will owe half of the praise to your big brother for helping you!!
You love coloring, food, following your big brother’s every
move, ELMO, writing on doodle pro's, being outdoors (even though we have not got to do it much - you want to go with me whenever I leave the house). You adore any time you get to play with your cousins. We watch ELMO at least once a day now (Don't worry Connor went though this phase as well). I think I am under exaggerating the amount of Love you have for ELMO right now, because it is A LOT! You just love everything there is about ELMO.. You are crazy about playing blocks, all kinds of blocks, every kind of blocks you can get your hands on.
Your so smart, you can point out just about all your body parts if we ask you where they are. You love sitting in the window and watching the cars. Your absolute favorite is when you hear an ambulance (which you can say pretty darn well).
You love talking and believe it or not we love you talking as well - its just so much fun to watch you learn and grow your changing so fast right before our eyes. The top 16 words I hear daily are; mama, dada, na ners (Connor), milk, more, baba, Elmo, up-stairs, blocks, moose, gigi's, ball , juice, water, dog, treats- just to name a few.
