Connor's Talent Show

Last Friday, Eric and I were able to go to Connor's school for this years talent show!  We were lucky, not only did we get to see Connor's class perform a song, we also got to see Connor's cousin Kendall do a dance routine with her friends.  Connor will also be preforming this song with his Pre-school class for their end of the year celebration, which is has invited just about everyone he has seen lately to!  I'm hoping I can get a little bit of a better video then (since 1,000 people decided to walk in front of me this time)  also, there will not be as many people at his preschool program.

I also tried to get a video of Kendall's dance group!  She did so good!!

It was a great show!  I'm glad we were both able to go support the kiddos!!

Do you see that!!!

Our baby boy is officially a Kindergartener!!!  I can't believe it!  I am just so proud of him!  Our original plan was for him to do two years of pre-school since his birthday is one of those that he can go either way.  With all that said after school started his teachers realized how smart he was and suggested that we think about putting him in Kindergarten this upcoming fall.  We were just a little worried most of his friends are already 5 and he won't be 5 until September but, that doesn't seem to slow him down ANY!  So, he took the Kindergarten screen and passed!!! (With flying colors I might add). Connor is so excited he gets to go on with his friends!  and we couldn't be any prouder of him.

Soccer Fun!

With Soccer just about ending for the season I feel excited, happy, bummed, sad,  just about it all to be honest!  I'm excited to have s small portion of our life back.  I'm happy Connor will be able to focus his energy on baseball now and be a little less tired himself.  I'm bummed that my talks with the mom's and dad's will come to minor halt till next season.  Finally, I am sad that in general that Soccer is ending!  Connor is really starting to get the hang of it.  You see, we never thought after this season that he would want to play again - he just never seemed to care for the game of Soccer just being there with his friends was all he needed but, now he is "Getting It"  he is realizing what he has to do.  He is taking the ball dribbling it down the field, passing it to other kids, and even playing defense.  He knows this is his final week of Soccer and already he is asking us when we get to sign him up for next year!  I am just so happy he is having fun and enjoying himself, I never thought he would of picked it up and liked it as much as he has!  Go Connor!!!  I love that you love Soccer and I'm sure daddy loves it even more!
Here are a few action shots from last Thursday!

And of course little brother Zennon - just wishing / waiting until he can get it on the action!

Sweet baby Zane.

Please, please, please say a prayer for Eric and I's cousin's little baby boy.  We have always been very close to both Andrea, her family and now her fiancĂ© Tom.  There little boy Zane only 7 weeks old is having surgery today to remove and/or find out more about the tumor growing on the left side of his brain.  Since this is a public blog - that is all I want to write but, please keep him in your prayers!

With that said Eric and I also have had the huge pleasure of keeping Zoey so, everyone is able to be with them at the hospital.  Zoey is having a wonderful time playing with her cousins!  We watched Finding Nemo before bed last night, got up this morning and everyone got baths, breakfast, and even played outside.
Here are some of our fun outside play time pictures!

My boys are all making sure miss Zoey feels like a princess & she is loving it!

A little update since I forgot to hit the publish button last night:  Zane is out of surgery after 12 hours so, now I'm just waiting to hear how everything went.  Please continue to keep him, Zoey, Andrea and Tom and our their entire family in your prayers!

My 1st (of this year) mother's day presents!

My wonderful brother and sister-in-law sent me a little surprise in the mail!  It was a wonderful surprise, I defiantly was not expecting it!  Thank you both again! Love you bunches!

Funny thing is, I was looking at this exact cup the day before in Target but, decided it was not a necessity - and look at that, I got it anyway!!  Happy surprise!  I just love it!

My car as of lately.

The madness of our lives has once again caught up to us!  Zennon is not even old enough to play sports and yet our lives revolve around schedules!  Don't get me wrong I love that Connor is active but my oh my a night with out plans in very much looked forward too!  Just a little taste of what our week looks like:

Monday - Connor baseball practice from 7:00 - 8:00pm
Tuesday - Connor soccer practice from 5:30 - 6:15pm followed by daddy's softball double header
games that usually starts at 6:15pm
Wednesday - FREE NIGHT!!!
Thursday - Connor soccer games sometime after 5:30 pm
Friday - Daddy has double header softball games
Saturday - Connor baseball games usually in the am.

In the next 4 weeks soccer will be over!  and we will just be busy with baseball and softball which is really a big deal here. For some reason this household is a big fan of baseball (nothing will come before football) but baseball is defiantly a close second!    I will post pictures soon of Connor in action!  Im so proud of how well he is doing in both!  Connor is also wrapping up his first complete year of preschool in the begining of June!  I can't believe it! It went so fast!  Up next for him is the Kindergarden screening.  I will post about that once we know more!

This is my normal view when I open the truck of the Jeep - It consists of soccer balls, chairs for me and Zennon boy, Connors baseball supplies and Eric's softball bag.

As if Connor playing ball was not enough - Daddy is coaching both soccer and baseball!  Im so proud of him, I don't know how he does it.  But what I do know is Connor loves him being there and his soccer players especially really love him coaching!
