Happy Thanksgiving Ya'll

A happy and very untraditional Thanksgiving was had today in our household.  Our day started with a yummy breakfast just the four of us.  Followed by Uncle Tom & Aunt Lauren, Papa Pat & Grandma Sandy coming over for lunch, football, lots of play time and lots of visiting.

The boys had two option what they could wear today - Steelers shirts, or their "eat pizza" shirts.  One choose Steelers and the other choose Pizza!  Pizza was indeed on the menu for lunch - yummy - I will never turn down an offer to cook pizza!

Later in the evening, Grandma April & Papa Bill joined us for dinner!  Once again, very untraditional - we cooked a super yummy fish dinner!!

I think everyone was happy with our choice to eat fish this year!!

Happy Thanksgiving to our family & friends near and far!!

Christmas Cards

Our Christmas Cards this year - were a little more in depth than I had planned on.  I hope they turn out as amazing as I think they will..  I wont tease you to much so, here is a sneak peak.

Fire Station Fun

Since the boys are totally obsessed with anything fire trucks related,

Papa Bill made arrangement with his friends at our local Fire Station (where he has been active in for a long time now) to take the boys to see the fire trucks up close.
We met Papa there and he made it possible for the boys, to get in the fire trucks, check out what the firefighters wear, see what the inside of the station looks like, they climbed up on top of the ladder truck, got to see where they store everything, overall just had a huge blast!!  I think they are still talking about it today.  They running around the house, with the fire trucks, making siren sounds, and fighting fire's.

Thanks for an awesome time Papa Bill!!!

Lights at the Zoo

Just like in the past, daddy went on his annual hunting trip with the guys.  So, that means mommy, grandma Sandy, Gigi and the boys, got started on some Christmas shopping.  Shopping in between my usual schedule of homework and picking up Connor from school - and still making sure lunches were packed and the boys were in bed on time!  It was a busy few days and the boys were very much so troopers the entire time so, we decided to have some fun and go to the opening night and lighting of the tree at the Zoo :)
It was a little cold so, we all bundled up and had a blast!

All bundled up & waiting for the tree lighting!

Connor wanted pictures by the awesome red lights
(that did not show up so hot in my pictures)
Our usual photo shot - the antique buffalo

Meeting Santa - Zennon would not go close - Connor was in deep conversation telling Santa all about what he wants for Christmas.  He even told Santa what Zennon wanted.  How nice of him..
 Birds!!!

 Dancing with the FROGS!

I hope we can make it back once more this winter season - It is just amazing the amount of lights they put up every year.  The boys loved the lights but, were looking for the animals (unfortunately - they were sleeping/ put away)

Sleepy Boy

Zennon has been testing his ability to not nap daily.  Although, some days this make work - most of the time it is not the case.  If we are out running errands / picking up Connor he will usually do ok or take a short nap in the car but, when we are home - I try my hardest to make sure he naps.  And this is why...

I was getting dinner ready in the kitchen and noticed he is quiet (which usually means he is getting into some sort of trouble) so, I start looking for him yelling his name and running around like a crazy person since I can't find him - until we see this.  Passed out - candy all around him.

Fun with Friends

Connor had two days off school this week for parent teacher conferences,  since he got such a good report card we thought we would take the kiddies for some fun.  Connor's friend Ethan, Zennon's friend Josie and of course their mommy Jen and baby sister Adalyn joined in on the fun!

All the kids (minus Adalyn- she was sleeping)

 My little Firefighter!!
My little Grocery Shopper..

Boys and the magnets..
 Connor is so strong!

The boys had a great time, they are already looking forward to our next trip back.

Happy Birthday Uncle Bob

Hope you had an amazing birthday!!  Hoping we get to visit soon! Love and missing you!!!

Trick Or Treating

A little late - but better than never!  Sunday was here and we were all ready for trick-or-treating!!
Oh, the leaves were so pretty!!
They were so excited!
Me and my Superhero's!!
All ready to go!!!

Yes, there are more photo's of the hulk and the reason in because my little wolverine was of running house to house and leaving Zennon, Grandma Sandy and myself in the dust!  He would go to about 3 house in the amount of time Zennon would get 1..   We all had a great time and I honestly can't believe how many blocks we went - I thought we would of only done about half as many as we did.  I would say Halloween 2013 was a success!!!!
