Not my idols...

As you know, I am NOT, nor will I ever be a Michigan fan - I can almost guarantee neither of my boys will go there but, just because you never know - we took the boys to meet a few players and get a few autographs!  The boys just love to meet football players and they felt everything special today!

Roy Roundtree (Who was super friendly and talked to us a lot while we were in line and waiting on the other players to show up.)

My Valentine's Day Dates!

We decided to do a family fun Valentine's Day this year - 

and family fun it was!!!!

 

We took the boys and grandma & grandpa Duris bowling - and it was a hit for all ages!!

 

I have to brag for just a moment - I rocked the first game and won!!! I was very proud of myself, I cannot tell you the last time I have bowled. 

 

The 2nd game was closer and we all started to warm up and were bowling strikes and spare's! But, that game was all Grandma Sandy who was on fire!!!!

Valentine's Day Party

Connor's class had a fun filled Valentine's Day Party, complete with cards from friends, games, ice cream sundae's and lots and lots of candy.

I always feel so honored to be able to attend the parties with Connor & his class - I love to see him with his friends and he is always so proud to show off his class!

Car Show Fun

One of the major perks of having a houseful of boys is they enjoy stuff I most likely not did as a kid.  With our jeep lease coming up very quickly - we thought the auto show would be a fun way to check out a few of the vehicles on our favorite list.

We got to see a lot of SUV's (this decision is not going to be easy) a few I thought I really liked, was not impressed when I saw them up close. Others, I liked I didn't think I would.  Looked at some amazing pick up trucks for Papa Pat, and some fun sports cars for the boys!  Oh, that "new" car smell:) Always a good time when we can have time together as a family!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Baked Goods

Connor's class was sponsoring a Bake Sale for his school and being it is the week of Valentine's Day I thought it would be fun to incorporate that in what I sent in.  Connor choose Rice Krispy Treats! 

 

I am not a huge "baker" by any means so, I was pretty darn proud of these!!

Superbowl Fun

We got to spend the Super Bowl with these two cuties!!!  The boys had so much fun, it seems like its been awhile since we were able to spend time with them.  I'm very happy they were able to come and play all afternoon!!
