Basketball

Today was Connor last basketball practice.  For 6 weeks Connor has participated in instructional basketball.  They basically worked with them on the basics. Such as dribbling, passing, and of course shooting baskets.  He very much enjoyed himself and even learned a few pointers along the way!

Connor's Field Trip

They started off their field trip by being read the book The Tiny Seed by, Eric Carle

They are making there own seed - which then turns into a flower (with all the help from sun, and water).  They used paper to build their flower just like Eric Carle did in his book.

It was a fun morning Eric and I got to spend with the kids! Even better is listening to the boys conversations!  Oh, how fun!!!

Eric's 28th Birthday!

Eric's birthday was a bit of a mess this year!  All he wanted to do was sleep in and spend the day with the boys and me but, nothing of the sorts happened. 

 

Our morning started out just as we had planned.  Connor class had a field trip to the Botanical Garden's so, since daddy was free in the morning he came along with me and Connor.  We had a wonderful time and even learned a few things ourselves.

 

When we got home work was crazy so, we both spent quite a few hours there hurrying up just in time to head out to dinner with the family :)

 

Connor's school had a fundraiser at a local restaurant so we went there to support the school instead of Eric's 1st choice (he said it was ok - and we will go to his 1st choice as soon as we have time, I promise).

 

Even though, the day flew by and he didn't get to relax and enjoy it as much as he had planned.. I think he had a good time - on an up note he will be relaxing and enjoying the warmth sooner than he realizes!!!

Trade Fair

Connor was very excited to help daddy and I out this year at our booth!  He did pretty good hanging out, but every chance he got he was asking to go visit some kid friendly booths.

Little Firefighters!!!!

Daddy's friends from work were so generous to give the boys these amazing sweatshirts!!!  They just love showing them off!

 

We were invited out to their house for a visit :)  We are going to make that happen.

Finally!!! We got to meet, take photo's with and get autograph's of a few of mommy's favorites!!

Zennon was the star of the show with these football players - he was all about sitting on their laps and taking photo's - he even got to give Carlos Hyde his autograph!

Connor had basketball and really did not want to miss so, thank you Michael for taking him to practice (and lunch) so, we were able to meet the OSU players!
