Honor's Ceremory

Although, they don't give out honor's until like 3rd grade.  The 1st grade was still part of the ceremony calling the kids up for all the special awards he received this year. 

 

 

Connor received awards for - Physical Education, Successful Completion of First Grade, Excellence in Artwork, Technology and 100% Homework All Year!  Connor ended the year with all A's and B+'s.  So proud of that little man!

You will do amazing in 2nd grade!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Last Day of 1st Grade

Mommy and Zennon got up early with Connor on his last day of school for a few reasons.  We of course had to take our normal "last day of school" photo session!  We had some teacher gifts to hand out and we wanted to go to his honor's ceremony at school.

Soccer for both boys

Signed Zennon up for the Pre K - K team at Connor's school this spring when we signed Connor up for the 1st and 2nd grade team!  I was a little nervous because I remember how Connor was at only 4 years old.  But, I should of known they are two totally different kids..  Zennon was by far the smallest kid on his team but, it did not hold him back in any ways! 

Last game of the season for Zennon's team - they were short kids - Connor was dressed for his game that was next so, he got to play!

 Other than the picture above I very much slacked at getting any pictures of Zennon playing.. I am so bad... I will do better in the fall!!!

Talent Show

Connor's class was part of the school's talent show this year.  They sang a song and did a rhyme about all the presidents!

Connor class Zoo trip

One last field trip to end his 1st grade experience!  The first graders paired up with the 8th graders and took a field trip to the Zoo, With all the help from the 8th grades this was a piece of cake chaperoning this trip.

 

 Our group of kids we got to explore the zoo with!  We had such a great time with just amazing kids.

 We made enough time to ride the Carousel - yup, Connor had to ride the Cheetah. 

 Saw some friends (Jacob and Ethan) while exploring the zoo - they all wanted a picture!

Connor class trip to the farm

Connor's 1st grade class had a field trip to Country Lane Tee Farm. Daddy and I went along for the fun!  They really got to do some cool things!!!

It was a fun time had by all!!!  We saw an 800+ pound pig, horses, bee hives, pheasants, deer, goats and many dogs, cats, and birds that also live on this farm!
