Our Kind of Sweet: Baby Fun

Hey!

I am doing a post about a baby and it's not my own...

Let me start by saying how much I love to plan parties!

Birthday Parties, Bridal Showers, Annual Themed Pig Roasts and especially Baby Showers. and this time was no different!!

When Eric and I heard the news that our little kiddos were going to have a new baby cousin, my brain immediately started filling with all these adorable little ideas to make his sisters baby shower perfect! When we found out it was going to be a little girl that made it even a little bit sweeter! Being new to the whole girl (and PINK) thing myself my head was spinning.. Where to begin!!!

There were so many precious themes for little girl showers but, we wanted to choose something that would match the nursery, once mommy and daddy finally filled us in on how they were going to decorate the nursery I could start to fill in the pieces!!

Any idea's yet?

Nursery color's were bright pink and bright green.

Crib bedding was pink and green chevron.

(Grandma had bought the baby a sign for her room)

Sugar & Spice and Everything Nice, that's what little girls are made of

so, we had a theme!

So cute & fun!!

Gift Table!

Proud big cousin Connor made this adorable "Baby Shower!" sign for Aunt Jenn & really wanted it hung. I think it looks just Perfect!

Centerpieces turned out super cute! Bright pink flowers surrounded by candy hearts!

The tables all ready for mommy to be guests to fill the seats!

A close up for each place setting. Each guest Chocolate Chip, M and M cookie mix in a mason jar!

I know not everyone are huge game people at baby showers so, we really tried to keep it simple and fun! But, come on, it's not a shower without having a little fun!

When guests arrived we had then fill out a "Wishes for Baby" page

that mommy & baby can enjoy for years to come!

This was my favorite - Each bag had a baby item in the bag that started with the letter on the bag. Guests had to guess the item! Best part was - mommy got a few extra goodies!
