Valentine's Day Love

Well our Valentine's Day did not quite go as planned this year but, really when does anything go as planned.  It all started Saturday when daddy and Rylinn both made a trip to the Urgent Care, glad they went since they both came home on antibiotics.

Thought, that was as bad as it could be until Zennon started getting sick (Oh, it was awful and daddy was gone - I have the weakest stomach - thanks goodness Grandma Sandy and Papa Pat were on their way over to babysit) so they could help take care of Zennon for the night.  Thankfully it was a short little bug and he starting to feel better by Monday. Mommy came down with a terrible cough on Sunday and spent the next two days laying around trying to get better myself.  As soon as we are all starting to be on the med, Connor gets sick ( its going around his school - 36 kids were out today)

So, our valentines day is all about disinfecting our house, keeping this little sweet pea away from her old brother.

Connor missed his party at school :(

Zennon was able to go to school today and so excited but, neither daddy or I could go and help for a few reasons one - we didn't feel 100% ourselves and two - we still had a sick kiddo at home.

Connor was not in the mood for dinner:(

Zennon & Rylinn said only Mac n' cheese sounded good.

Me and daddy had a yummy steak dinner

and lunch leftover tomorrow since no one ate with us.

Papa Bill & Grandma April sent us these sweet flowers -

making our house look better than we all feel.

When friends are family

I swear we are so lucky to have the best of friends ever...  Not just our friends but, the kids too - I am not kidding they are like family to us!!  I'm sure it's not Rylinn's favorite thing ever to get toted around to all of her big brother's practices but, when the kids are just as excited to see her and she is to see them, it absolutely melts my heart.

Family Portrait

When you go to drop your middle peanut off at school and see this family portrait - you cant help yourself but giggle and of course take a picture to share with the world!

Mommy, Daddy & Connor's eye colors are on point but, apparently Zennon & Rylinn have black eyes.  We all having matching hair and Rylinn had none..

Getting Ready

Rylinn and mommy have a baby sitting gig coming up for none other than our sweet newest little cousin Zander so, we pulled out the swing and of course my big girl needed to test it out for him.

Multitasking

This kid is a pure example of multitasking.  

Zennon is home from school sick today and when I told him he

had to spend the day relaxing he did just that.  

Watching Minecraft how to do videos on the ipad while playing Minecraft on the Xbox.  He thinks he has it all figured out.
